It comprises a spacious 2-storey building with an adjoining open-sided living and dining pavilion, a self-contained single-storey guesthouse, a swimming pool and a relaxation pavilion set within a large walled garden.

Entering The Maharaj, you will go through a traditional set of Balinese doors then find a gorgeous garden punctuated by lotus ponds and many tropical bushes that have been beautifully arranged to serve a regal private garden. Boasting over a contemporary tropical architecture, this villa can accommodate eight guests comfortably. Living Area

Living and Dining area in The Maharaj set in an open-air pavilion features a soaring roof lined with split bamboo, above a polished teak floor bordered by white Palimanan stone. Cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans, this room gives you large space to have a family time. It opens directly onto the pool deck and bamboo blinds attached can be dropped for privacy and shade. There are two comfortable daybeds and a coffee table positioned at one end of the room where there is a TV, DVD and quality sound system within an antique wooden cabinet. Spending you time here while having a light chat with snacks while over viewing the beautiful garden ahead. At the far end of the pavilion next to the kitchen is a formal dining set for eight people.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

There are four air-conditioned bedrooms in The Maharaj, 2 of them located in the main pavilion and another two in the guest pavilion. The downstairs bedroom is the master of this villa as it located at poolside, next to the living and dining pavilion. The sliding glass door revealed you a queen teak-opium bed with mosquito net. Furnished in this room are cushioned daybed, teak bedside tables and fitted wardrobes with sliding Louvre doors. Between the bedroom and the en-suite bathroom is a dressing area with more fitted cupboards. The bathroom characterized by a magnificent circular terrazzo bathtub and completed with powerful rain shower, teak vanity unit with twin washbasins.

The second bedroom located upstairs and can be reached through the staircases at the living is furnished with queen size bed with mosquito net. The spacious bathroom here is linked by a dressing area completed with built in cupboards. The bathroom features a semi-open air rain-shower fitted with bamboo blinds. There is also a toilet and a teak vanity unit complete with basin. What special about this upstairs bedroom that it have balcony wraps around two sides of the room. It has pair of cushioned lazy chairs where you enjoy the wonderful views of the garden, pool and wide vast skies. Next to the bedroom, there is another air-conditioned room with single bed suitable for a child, a maid or a nanny.

The remaining two bedroom located across the immaculate flat lawn to a single-storey pavilion at the far side of the pool. Both feature soaring roofs, cool marble floors and sliding glass doors. Both also comes with queen size bed and mosquito net, where one bedroom complemented with walk-in wardrobe. The two of them share a garden bathroom with a stone pebble floor and a large open-air bathtub. There is also a shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.

Pool and Garden

Carefully arranged solely to create a natural tropical environment where soothing sounds of water bubbling over ornamental pots in the encompassing lotus ponds give a perfect atmosphere into the villa. The garden also enchanted by flowering trees of frangipani, pink ‘pohon kupu kupu’ and red dadap. All completed and perfected by the appearance of 12-meter infinity edge swimming pool. There are four sun-loungers rest upon the timber deck where you can enjoy a nice sunbathing time with the friendly heat of Bali.

The Maharaj is located in the very center of Seminyak, a safe upmarket neighborhood that is home to some of classiest properties on the island. It cost your twenty minutes drive from the airport. The villa is just a few minutes’ walk from a wide choice of international acclaimed restaurants including the famous KuDeTa, La Luciola, Living Room and Hu’u Bar. It also offer very short distance, within walk to chic designer boutiques and the sweeping Oberoi Beach.
