Description

Lata Liana II consists of main single-storey building like a Bornean longhouse and a stand-alone-two-storey building followed the architectural style of a traditional lumbung. This 2-bedroom villa also comes with a private swimming pool accompanied by the beautiful manicured tropical garden.

Lata Liana II main building is housing over a master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom and an expansive open-plan living and dining room with a kitchenette at one end. The second bedroom on the opposite of the pool precisely is at the traditional lumbung facilitated by twin beds with indoor-outdoor bathroom and a tiny kitchenette. A roof shelters this lumbung as it overlooking the pool, an elevated open-sided relaxation space.

Living Area

The living area at this villa is situated in the main building and appears as that of open-plan living with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and a non-slip floor throughout. This living room is under a high-pitched roof with a skylight and glass doors at the front and the back. Accessing the living through timber pool deck and sliding glass door revealed you huge and comfortable sofa-style daybeds with cushions completed with a coffee table, and satellite channel TV, Blu-ray disc player and iPod dock.

Adjacent to the living is the dining room and kitchenette under a flat roof. The dining area is furnished with a square table for eight. Adjacent to this, the kitchenette is built into the end wall and fitted with a marble workshops and a two-burner gas hob, which also comes with fridge, Espresso coffee machine, and cupboard filled with quality glassware and crockery. Another set of glass doors beside the kitchen are is open to a pretty patio with just enough space for a circular table and two chairs guarded by a frangipani tree.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Bedroom quarter in Lata Liana II consists of master bedroom and lumbung bedroom. Master bedroom rest in the main pavilion with a non-slip acid marble floor and bay-shaped French windows fold open to the swimming pool. The room equipped with a satellite-channel TV, Blu-ray disc player, iPod dock and ceiling fan. In the middle of the room is a king-size bed with retractable mosquito net accompanied with reading lamps and cabinets crafted from the recycled wood and an old phinisi schooner. The large en-suite bathroom completed with twin washbasins, hanging and storage space, a freestanding bathtub for two, walk-in rain shower and toilet in separate cubicles.

The twin rooms are located on the second floor of Lumbung bedroom that can be converted into a king size bed. It is fully air-conditioned room facilitated with two sofas positioned on a mezzanine accessed via a solid wooden ladder. The bedroom’s timber floor leads to the sliding glass doors onto a wooden balcony overlooking the garden. This room also comes with a satellite-channel TV, Blu-ray disc player, iPod dock and ceiling fan.

Swimming pool and Garden

Completed the luxury and comfortable living at Lata Liana II, there is 15 meters free form pool curves across the flat lawn, bordering both the lumbung and main house with steps on either side. The beauty of the garden pronounce by shrubs and colorful bougainvillea, parlor palms, lipstick palms and travelers’ palm, two gnarled and ancient frangipani. Give more tropical ambiance into the villa is a butterfly tree and one of the mature trees from the villa takes its name. Sheltered underneath the balcony of the lumbung is a large open-sided relaxation space fill with mattresses and cushions.
