Overview

The Banyan Estate is a fully staffed 5-star luxury villa. Surrounded by the cascading rice fields of one of Bali’s most serene districts, it is made up of six individual structures:
- The main house
- Two adjoining garden rooms
- The gymnasium
- Two bales
- Staff and Security quarters.

The main house is nothing short of a two-storey mansion with a spacious wrap around balcony on the top floor.

The ground floor features:
- The dining room.
- The kitchen.
- The lounge and entertainment room.
- The Business, library and games room.
- A powder room.
- A Queen-size bedroom with en-suite. This room opens up to it’s own patio with retreat lounges, that overlooks the pool and grounds.

Take a grand staircase to the second floor and you will find:
- Two air-conditioned king-size bedrooms complete with walk-in robes, grand-size en-suites, satellite television, stereo, DVD player and a private balcony that overlooks the grounds and beyond.
- An air-conditioned Queen size bedroom with spacious robes, satellite television, stereo and DVD player. This bedroom shares its en-suite with one of the master bedrooms.

A lazy amble from the main house down a winding pathway and you will be met by:
- Two adjoining King-size garden rooms. They feature their own private decking and outdoor retreat and are a truly beautiful setting early morning, as tropical butterflies are attracted to the sweet smelling flowers nearby. Both rooms are extremely spacious and immaculately furnished. They each feature air-conditioning, en-suite, walk in robe, satellite television, stereo, DVD player and retreat area.
- Two Bales. One features two day beds, the other features and antique dining setting.
- The Gymnasium. Overlooking the river, it caters to the most discerning fitness enthusiast.

Why Banyan Estate is such a special place:
The Banyan Estate's name pays homage to the Banyan Tree. This is a very sacred tree for Indonesia’s Hindu religion and Banyan Estate is blessed to have one on its grounds.

History tells us that Budda sat under the Banyan Tree and received his spiritual enlightenment. It is said to bring good luck to those who make contact with it and offer it a gift – hence why it plays an integral role in the daily offerings to the Hindu God and many religious ceremonies throughout the year.

The Estate sleeps 12 people, when two to a room is applied, but there are provisions for more through the usage of portable beds. A port-a-cot is available for guests with babies and toddlers.

Gym and Buusiness Facilities

Following yet another leafy pathway along the side of the property, you will come to an open-face gymnasium that looks onto the river and a forest of weeping willows.

With the cool breeze emanating from the shade of the trees and rice fields that lay beyond, discerning fitness enthusiasts will be reach their endorphin state before they even start.

The gymnasium features:
- A pin-loaded multi weight station.
- A selection of free weights.

- An abdominal machine.
- A table tennis table.
- A television and stereo.
- A mini-library of fitness magazines.

The Business Centre:

With the most discerning corporate traveller in mind, the Business Centre is a fully furnished office complete with a computer, printer, scanner, photocopier, fax machine and modem.

There is 24 hour internet access and E-mailing facilities and stationery is also provided for you.

It also boasts a library of books, magazines and houses the indoor adult and children's games and toys.

Recreation and Relaxation

When the sun makes demands on your body, emerge yourself in a luxurious 20-meter pool. It also has a large plunge pool with seating attached to it, making it ideal for children and those who like to simply sit and cool off.

The pool area is a focal point of the Estate and rivals that of any luxury resort. It is encircled by sweet smelling Frangipani trees and native flowers.

It features extra large mattress sun beds to laze on and garden umbrellas for shelter.

Poolside attendance is just the ring of a bell away, however staff will always be attentive to your needs when relaxing at the Estate and make several requests for snacks and drinks throughout the day.

This also applies to when ever you are - be it poolside, watching a movie, reading or playing games – they will be at your beck and call.

The two bales, best described as traditional Balinese gazebos, are great features of the Banyan Estate. One is called the Banyan Daybed Bale; the other is the Banyan Dining Bale.

The Daybed Bale sits high above the ground and features two luxurious daybeds making it a perfect place for rest and relaxation and a snack in between of course ! It also features an overhead ceilling fan and can become a private haven by drawing its curtains. Perfect for an uniterrupted massage, sleep or romantic moment!

The Dining Bale is situated by the river and captures the tranquil ambience of the running water and luscious green fauna. It sits under the shaded canopy of the Banyan three and an antique dining table for eight people and a spacious decking with retreat lounges with an overhead fan and an intercom to the kitchen for promt service. This bale - especially breakfast.

For indoor dwellers Banyan also offers a huge selection of movies and CD's for all ages - and don't forget there is also a popcorn maker if movie nights are you're thing.

Functions and Corporate Events

Owing to its grandness, the Banyan Estate is ideal for large groups of friends and family and business associates to spend time together. It has also hosted many special functions such as :
